Lorna Baker
Team Manager/Pit Crew/PR/Sponsor
Lorna, also from Millisle, is also a keen motorcyclist and has had a lifelong interest in motorcycle racing. Her motorcycle is well known in the paddock as, together with her husband Steve, they often travel to the race meetings on their Honda Fireblade RRV's. Lorna and Steve have recently bought a 2002 CBR 600 Sport to convert into a trackday bike. That should keep Kevin busy in passing on his experience and expertise as Lorna is a complete novice on the racetrack!
Lorna works the pitboard and acts as timekeeper. She carries out any other tasks required 'on the day' ranging from tyre changing to catering. Lorna liases with the press and she has designed, built and maintains Kevin's website. Lorna keeps in touch with the press on Kevin's behalf and together with Steve, organises Kevin's fundraising events. |

Gareth Ewing
Pit Crew/Mechanic
Gareth, too, is no stranger to motorcycle racing, having notched up motocross wins in both the Ulster and Irish 125cc Support Championships. Graphic Designer Gareth and Kevin first met when both were racing their crossers and continued their shared enthusiasm for the sport with their road bikes until Kevin took to the circuits in 2005.
Gareth, when his own racing commitments permit, takes a very active role in the team, helping Steve with the running of the motorcycle at the circuit 'on the day' and as a professional graphic designer, Gareth designed and published Kevins PR calendar. |
